A Master's Portfolio

I am a writer and an educator who recently completed my M.S.Ed. at the University of Pennsylvania in the Day School Teaching Residency program. I taught 7th grade Language Arts, 8th grade Journalism, and 8th grade Talk at the Gilman School in Baltimore, MD. I also coached middle school football, basketball, and track & field. After growing up in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where I attended The Roxbury Latin School, I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Davidson College with a degree in English in May of 2017. There, I published an essay about Disability in Toy Story, and wrote critically about other Disney and Pixar films, following a lifelong interest in the popular motion pictures. I have also written extensively on sports, covering the NCAA Tournament for The Davidsonian & the Carolina Panthers for Black and Blue Review.
